A DREAM CAME TRUE

Having said the three magical words by lying on his knees, Sudeep was much tensed and happy at the same time. He was happy seeing the pretty face, with the lovely curls of her hair falling on the cheeks of Briti. He relaxed and took a deep breath having proposed. Meanwhile, Briti was shocked to hear and was immersed in a pool of thoughts. As Briti, Sudeep too had many thoughts revolving in his brain. Will she accept me? What will she say now? How can I digest if she says ‘No’. I wish she said ‘Yes’. He was indulged in her childhood memories. The love he has developed for her all these years, the way he enjoyed every quarrel over petty issues, the surprise gifts he used to send her on her every birthday behalf of his family, the way she used to play, dance, sing…

All of a sudden, he heard the voice from Briti saying, “Are you mad!!! What are thinking of yourself? This is just an INFATUATION, and…. and I don’t have any feelings for you. Moreover, I don’t like this Love and all… I am too young to think of it now and I may not think in the future too. Focus on your studies. Uncle has many hopes on you. Leave this matter here.” After saying that she doesn’t have any feelings for Sudeep, she left the place. Sudeep in a dejected mood, had taken the decorated roof, threw it in the garbage and went down to his room.

After a while, Sudeep’s father asked him about his admission in college. Sudeep told that he was checking his mail. He found a mail from the university which he had applied for. The mail notified that he had to join the course in 10 days and all the applications and the list of certificates which were to be submitted were attached to the mail.

Having read the mail, he went to his father and informed about the mail and he told that he had to go there 4 days before to complete the process of admission in the college and hostel. Sudeep’s father was very happy and told that he would arrange for that and asked him to inform the news to everyone in the family and be ready to go.

Admission in the renowned university is a dream came true for Sudeep. Although, it was a  good news for him, he was not happy. He was still in dejected mood. All the members of his family were very happy and congratulated him. Seeing him unhappy, his mother asked him what had happened. He said, "Nothing". They felt that he might be feeling sad as he had to leave all of them for the first time for university. But, no one knew the actual reason for his sadness.

Briti came and congratulated him and left immediately. He loved spending time with her either by fighting or teasing her. The last three weeks, they spent together. But now, it was for four years. He couldn't see her or talk to her as frequently as before. He couldn't lose the university admission as it was one of his dreams. At the same time, he couldn't stay in another state which was thousands of kilometres away. There were only a few days left to go.

Coming to Briti, she was very happy for Sudeep. She was happy not only as Sudeep got admission in university but also for he was going to another state, far from her and so, she could move freely. However, she too had to join a new school for plus1. Her parents wanted her to continue her education staying with her grandparents as her father got transferred to another place and there were no good schools.

Now, Briti’s admission to higher secondary school was looked after by her uncle, Sudeep’s father. He asked her to accompany them to Sudeep’s university so that she could have a look. Listening to this, Sudeep felt very happy. But, Briti denied. Hence, her uncle planned to join her in higher secondary school the next day.

Briti was going to join in a higher secondary school.
Sudeep was going to leave for university.

Will they stay connected?

Will Sudeep’s love for Briti lasts forever?

A BOLT FROM THE BLUE...

Having heard the news of her cousin’s hand behind those captures, Briti became more restless. In fact, she was developing more anger through her thoughts. She couldn’t sleep well that night. She kept on thinking the whole night. She could sleep only in the wee hours.
It became dawn. The brilliant rays of the Sun tore the veils of darkness. The birds were flying in the sky chirping. The greenery around the river side was blushing with the cool breeze. The tiny little fish in the river were swimming deep as the children went there for swimming. Briti was still in bed as she slept late thinking that night. The Sun rays pierced into the glass window and were striking against the face of Briti.
Meanwhile, Briti’s granny came with a hot cup of coffee. She said, “Dear wake up! My dear Briti… wake up… dear….” “Hmmm…hmmm…….. Good morning Grannyyyyy…. Haaa…. (Yawn…yawn…yawn). Why the Sun has risen that early today? Let me sleep for some more time”, said Briti. “Briti dear, it’s not fair to you. The clock says 10 and still you are in bed”, said fairy old lady. “What! It’s 10’o clock. Oh my God! I missed my yoga class today. Why didn’t you wake me up early my old pumpy (granny)”, said Briti rushing to wash room to take bath.
Sudeep came to know about the things happened on bus from Nishant. He had started worrying and thinking how to face Briti.
“Granny…..! I am ready. Where is my breakfast? I am hungry”, said Briti. “Your aunt is preparing hot… hot… breakfast to you and your cousin. Wait for a while. She is bringing”, said granny. Briti was waiting at dining hall and her aunt came with breakfast. After serving Briti breakfast, her aunt called Sudeep for breakfast. “Su… Sudeep…? Why aunt? Why are you calling him? Do you want anything?” said Briti. “No dear, he too didn’t have breakfast. I’m calling him to have his breakfast”, said aunt.
Sudeep came and dragged the chair and sat for breakfast. Briti couldn’t face him. Her face became redder and redder not due to blush but due to anger. Aunt served both of them breakfast and went into the kitchen wondering why both of them were eating very quietly and what happened to the Tom and Jerry.

1…2…3… go and it started.

“Why did you do that?” said Briti.
“What did I do?” asked Sudeep.
“What…? You are asking what? I am talking about the pictures. Why did you ask Nishant to capture my pictures?” said Briti.
Sudeep said, I…I…

Meanwhile, aunt came bringing milk to them and served them saying, you guys started fighting again! Briti said, “No aunt. The breakfast is very delicious.” Yes maa… added Sudeep. Once aunt left the place, Sudeep told, “Please don’t make mess here by arguing. First have your breakfast and come to the terrace”, said Sudeep and went to his room having drunk the milk.

Briti went to the terrace of the building. She had seen the well decorated classy roof in the centre of the terrace. It was so beautifully decorated roof in blue and pink colours, with a table and two chairs under the roof. The decoration attracted Briti so much. She passed towards the roof. Slowly came Sudeep behind her and said, “Briti… (She turned back and saw Sudeep with a handful of red roses.) Briti, I…LOVE…YOU… I Love You so much!”
Briti... I Love You.......
It’s a bolt from the blue for her. She was shocked to hear the three magical words. And, they were from Sudeep.

What she had thought, shouldn't happen the last night, happened. What to say? How to react.... are the thoughts that were going on in her mind.

What will happen now?
Will she accept his proposal?
Will it lead to a new relationship?

Let me share with you in the next article. :)

A TRUE CULPRIT

All the youths in the mini bus, started singing songs, making fun of others, and enjoying themselves the journey. The kids were also supported by the youths to put their hearts out in their little crispy voices. All of them were really in a very good mood, when our Briti immersed herself in a pool of thoughts. Having seen the pictures captured by Nishant, Briti thought a lot. She thought “It shouldn’t be happen so. What shall I do now? What made him to capture only my pictures?” After thinking for some time, she called Nishant and offered him the nearby seat and asked him, “Are you mad? What made you capture these pictures? Why did you do so? Are you thinking you have grown up?"

Her voice is very low though harsh and suppressed by the songs that have been singing by her siblings and cousins. Nishant is dumbfound and became dumb too.  Meanwhile, Sudeep observed both of them, and had given a gesture symbolising, ‘what happened?’ Both of them just have shaken their heads saying nothing. Sudeep again, joined the troupe of singers and was enjoying himself. Briti started again. “What do you think of yourself? Shall I say this to your mom? Are you that grown up? What’s your age? Tell me, who asked you to do this. I know that somebody made you to do so. Tell me who is that? Speak out!

By listening to all her words, Nishant made a face and told in a shaking lower voice “S…Su…Sudeep.” It’s a big bolt from the blue for Briti. She just couldn't believe her ears. She was unable to digest it. “Is it Sudeep? I can’t believe it. You are lying. Tell me the truth. It cannot be him. How could he? He always teases me and hates me. In fact, I hate him. Don’t bluff… Tell me the truth. Or else, I will tell your mom.” said Briti. Nishant said, “It's true sister. I am not lying. He only told me to capture your pics more than others pics. He only gave me this camera.” “Yes! It’s our camera only. So, you are not lying. You are telling me the truth!” asked Briti.

“Yes! I am not lying, sister. Please don’t say to my mom”, said Nishant. “Ok then, do not repeat it. You are in Class VIII now. Put your focus on education and don’t tell anyone that I have asked you about these pics”, said Briti. And they both left the seats. The bus had reached the destination and all the kids and cousins said good bye to one another and parted. Briti with the camera in her hand opened the gate and went to her room straight away.

What will happen now?
Will Briti ask Sudeep directly face-to-face? (or)
Will she say everything that had happened in the picnic to her grandparents?
What will she do now?
Will this lead to a new relation in between Briti and Sudeep?

Let me share it in my next article.

CHANGES AND CHALLENGES

Briti, like any other girl entered the stage of puberty. New thoughts, new worries... physical and mental changes.... some restrictions... all these made a mess. She thought "What if I sit with my friend (boy) who has been studying from class I with me? Why has he suddenly became unreachable? Why the other boys are staring at me and my other girl friends? See! Now, its 10th class final exams.... we all can't be together again. We have to join in difference schools for +1. Though, I have written my exams well yet I am not happy. And today I am feeling very upset and lonely. It's all because of him, Alan. What happened to that Alan? How could he do that? He proposed me! I said NO. But why did he do that? I am really disturbed. He is a good friend of me since my Class IV. Now, how can I even talk to him casually? Anyway, I am going to my granny's place for vacation. I can find some peace and lots of fun."
This is just starting. She went to her granny's place to spend 3 weeks with them. Her granny's place is one of the loveliest places on this earth for her. Not only for her, in fact for everyone. It's situated on the river bank. A bungalow, with a river front view, greenery everywhere. Relief from city pollution and those horns..... a peaceful and lovely nature welcomes all with its beauty and fresh air. Briti loves to swim in the river; she did during every summer vacations. But now... she can go and swim but only if she was accompanied by her siblings and cousins. Granny loves Briti more than her any other grandchildren. She takes care of her, provides favourite food, clothing and priority too...
One week went on unknowingly. One day, all the cousins planned for a picnic with neighbouring friends and others to nearby waterfalls. Many instructions were given to Briti and her Cousin who is of her age Sudeep. Both are like Tom and Jerry. Neither of them is Tom or Jerry. They are both, exchange their role every now and then. But now, these two are heading the picnic group. As soon as all of them leave the home, they became two groups. Briti with the siblings of Sudeep and her friends and Sudeep with the siblings of Briti and his friends. Briti's siblings do not support her and Sudeep's do not support him.
They reached the waterfalls. The kids are very eager to drench themselves in those falls, when, Briti trying to control them. Sudeep with his friends is already under the waterfalls and enjoying the location. After 30mins. of struggle with her juniors (the kids), finally, she made herself free by keeping them at safe place. "Hhaaa.... what a relief! The bright Sun rays striking the water forming a VIBGYOR.... fascinates every visitor of those waterfalls.

Briti with her teenage siblings steps slowly and carefully towards the actually fall where Sudeep and his friends are enjoying where one of his friends is busy capturing the beauty with his camera lens. It's rocky way and dangerous too. Should be careful. She is just a few steps away when she found herself bleeding in her foot. She shouted "Ahhhhaaa! Blood!!!.....................................
After 2 minutes.....

"Are you so senseless? How can you girls forget yourselves and walk so carelessly?" started blaming Sudeep. A small piece of glass had cut her foot. Somehow, her foot was wrapped with a cotton scarf that she was carrying. Luckily, the cut was not deep. So, she got first aid and she now joined again the group to enjoy that scenic beauty. They were ready to go back home. Briti managed the entire group not to tell about the cut at home. All agreed with her, when she promised Sudeep that she would take medicine after reaching home and let him use her Lapi for a week.

Deal ok.

While they all were travelling by the mini bus, she asked Nishant, the boy who captured pics to give the camera to see the pics. He, who was sitting 2 seats back to her, reluctantly passed it to her. Seeing the pics, she was shocked. 70% of the captures were of her. While she was driving the sibling-kids, chatting with teenager siblings, playing with water, mocking Sudeep, almost all her actions in the trip.

Can she thank him or be angry with him?

What should she do?

What she had done?

Let me disclose it in my next article.
Hope, you enjoyed this article. :)
