JEALOUSY.............

All had started from home to the picnic spot. Briti looked pretty good in blue jeans and a red shirt. She had left her hair untied which flew due to air like, tides of an ocean. Sudeep sat in the next seat, behind her. Hence the flying hair fell on his face and he enjoyed its texture and fragrance. By seeing that, his friends began teasing him.

He enjoyed the journey very much. He felt the fragrance of each strand of the hair which mesmerised him and made him forget the surroundings. The cool breeze, the fragrance and his love who sat in the front seat gave a lot of pleasure to his senses. They reached the place within two hours. Surprisingly, Briti found Yayin in the picnic spot.

Seeing Briti there Yayin’s heartbeat raised; it started beating faster… lub-dub…lub-dub…lub-dub. He couldn’t believe his eyes. He questioned himself, “Am I seeing Briti? Is it real or my imagination? How can Briti be here?” To his surprise, Briti came to him and greeted him. Yayin’s words got struck. He tried to respond but… words didn’t come in astonishment. He was on cloud nine.

He couldn’t believe it. The girl whom he felt that he couldn’t meet again was there in front of his eyes. And seeing her pretty, angelic face he had forgotten with whom he was and continued talking to her until Briti told him that someone was calling him. It was his mother. So, he rushed to her.

Meanwhile, Sudeep became green-eyed seeing them. His eyes were furious. He was not at ease and was very anxious to know who he was. Having understood Sudeep’s condition, his friends walked towards him and tried to console him saying, he (Yayin) might have been her classmate and not to worry much.

Yayin came back to Briti and she asked him, who she was that called him and how he had come there and with whom. Yayin said, she was his mother and he came with his parents. Then, he took her to his parents. Briti greeted his parents and talked to them for almost 10 minutes. Yayin’s parents liked her very much. Her obedience, respect towards elders and her cute, pretty face attracted them more.

Seeing this, Sudeep became more anxious, unstable and started breathing heavily. He scolded himself for choosing that place as their picnic spot. He felt that it was a bad idea to choose that spot to spend some time with Briti. He was suffering mentally and unable to cope up with the situation. His friends asked him if he would go and call Briti back. But he was not ready to call her for the fear of showing his unstableness and possessiveness with his anger on Briti.

She started walking towards Sudeep with Yayin. She introduced Yayin to Sudeep, his friends and remaining cousins saying Yayin was her classmate and one of her close friends at school and he came there with his parents. Having heard this, Sudeep felt a bit relaxed and his friends hold Sudeep and patted his shoulder symbolising, they were right. Briti went to her cousins while all the boys are together, talking with one another.

Being curious of Briti’s words, “one of my close friends” Sudeep started talking to Yayin (mostly asking questions). Sudeep, along with his friends put a lot of questions to know about their friendship. Yayin became more excited at the same time more sad while he was talking about Briti. The way he answered the questions, raised some iota of doubt among them that Yayin had some feelings for Briti.

But somehow, the way Yayin answered to their questions made them felt Yayin, a lubber. Yayin felt uncomfortable with their questions and wanna leave the place saying he had to go, as his parent might be waiting for him. He told bye to all and to Briti at last and left the place with the feeling of joy and upset at the same time.

This leads to ray of hope in Yayin to be in contact with her.He wanted to be in contact with her daily by messaging (sms) or calling. But Sudeep felt that there would be no problem with Yayin being a friend of Briti. His friends told him that he had to face many such guys in the future as Briti is unique.

Now, Sudeep was in a state of pride as well as fear at the same time. Pride because of Briti’s beauty and intelligence; and fear because of the chances that any other guy can attract her. “How can he handle when he was not with her?”, was his doubt.

BRITI.... I FEEL JEALOUS OF ANY OTHER BOY WHO TALKS TO YOU...
I WANT YOU IN MY LIFE

Is it true?

Will Sudeep’s fear becomes true?

Will Briti be attracted to someone?

Let us see it in our next article.

THE FAREWELL...

Our silent one-side lover, Yayin was a cute and one of the brilliant students. He loved Briti for her intelligence, her sweet voice and of course her beauty. But he was an introvert. He couldn’t share his feelings to others easily. No one in that group knew about Yayin’s love for Briti. He was so introvert that he couldn’t even express his hard feeling on anyone. He never absented himself from the class because of the fear that he might miss seeing Briti. Hence, he had cent per cent attendance.

During Briti’s birthday, he prepared handmade articles and a greeting card with his own hands to present her. But, now there were hardly a week days to complete their plus two. They couldn’t be as they were. They couldn’t be going and coming and partying together. There was a farewell in 2 days, and then preparation holidays. So, Yayin had only two days left to express his love. The day had passed and the next day everyone in their group planned to bunk the school to go shopping for farewell. All the girls planned to go together.

It was the farewell day. It’s been 5 p.m. Everyone was coming one by one for the gathering. Here came our Briti in a white and pink maxi dress, just looking not less than an angel among her friends in their outfits at their best. Briti looked tall, thin, bright and attractive in her outfit. Even teachers admired her in that outfit. Their juniors set everything well and ready for cultural events. Our Briti was a good dancer. She too had a few steps with her friends. All the eyes were on Briti. Yayin, came in his best possible outfit. The eight sat together and were enjoying the programme. And our poor Yayin’s eyes were not sufficient to see beautiful Briti in that outfit. While everyone was watching the cultural events, Yayin was engaged in seeing Briti, as if he was not gonna see her again in his life; may be its true. Briti felt the eyes of someone and turned towards Yayin and gestured with her eyes symbolizing what. Yayin replied innocently by shaking his head.

He came prepared to propose her. But, he totally forgot it and was mesmerised in her beautiful appearance and cute…. sweet voice. There are only 10 minutes left for the programme to end. All the energetic and cheerful faces were filled with sadness as if the veil of sorrow covered the place. All the students of plus two were feeling sad as they were going to lose their friends. Briti’s melancholy eyes made her look like a goddess of sorrow all of a sudden. Those eight friends started crying and missing one another. Entire environment of that place which was a place of happiness with cultural events turned a land of sorrow with the students’ sad faces and cries. It was very evident from that scene that all of them were well connected to one another and they were gonna miss their school days.

Slam books were exchanged with their contact details and wishes for others. Hugs, cries, wishes were the things that filled the scene. Our introvert, Yayin took the step and decided to be introvert only by not letting the cat out of his bag about his feelings on Briti as it is not the right time. And, he knew very well that if not then he could not do on any other day. His heart was melting and felt the pain of the tapping of 100 elephants at a time. It became heavy as he was going to lose her. He felt like his heart was ripped up. He was crying, but not because of losing friends but in the disguise of it. He was crying for missing Briti.

Meanwhile, right thousand kilometres away, there Sudeep was writing second year final exams and planned to come home with friends for a three week holiday.

Back here, all were busy and tensed as the next two weeks were exams. Hence all were busy in preparations and writing exams. Sudeep came home with four more friends while Briti was still writing her exams. So, Sudeep didn’t disturb her, but that day was the last exam. Hence, he planned a trip the next day with all his cousins and friends, and Briti was part of them.

The next day…. All had started from home. Within two hours, they reached the place. Surprisingly, there Briti found Yayin at that place. Both met and started talking, which made Sudeep jealous.

What would have happened now?

Will Sudeep interfere in their talk?

What will Briti do?

Wait till the next article, friends.

A NEW LIFE

It was a fine sunny day… the day, when Briti and Sudeep were parting. It was the first day of Briti’s higher secondary school. And it was the same day Sudeep was leaving for college, which was thousands of kilometres away from his hometown. Briti was very happy for two reasons. The first one was her joining the school and the other, as you expected, her cousin, Sudeep’s parting for college.

It was time Sudeep left the place. He waited for Briti, but she was enjoying with her new friends at school. Sudeep’s father asked Sudeep to hurry up if not they would miss the train. Sudeep with his luggage sat in the car when Briti reached home. Her granny asked her to accompany them to railway station to see off her cousin. Unwillingly accepted, Briti sat in another car with granny. And Sudeep was glad to know Briti was coming. Granny started asking Briti about her new school and new friends. Briti kept on saying about her experience on her first day at school to granny till they reached railway station.

Sudeep wanted to talk to Briti and spend some time with her. But he dare not approach her. He was seeing her observing her gestures to her granny and thought, “Look at her, how cute she is, her smile, her lips and big blue eyes… she is my little angle. How can I be without seeing her for four years? I wish time flew away soon. I wanna spend some quality time. But she is not even looking at me.”
Train No. 17562 is going to arrive shortly, announcement for train.

There were only 3 minutes for the train to come. Sudeep thought, “first time in life, I wish the train came late. At least depart after 30 minutes. Why doesn’t she look at me? Ok, let me go to her and talk. Yes! Yes! You can do it Sudeep…”

Sudeep took steps to go to Briti when the train arrived. His father called him and asked him to board the train. Then, Briti came and said bye. It was the most painful situation no guy can ever face. Briti was still smiling. Having that smile in his heart, Sudeep left the place, boarded the train. The train started moving slowly while Sudeep’s heartbeat was increasing. The speed of the train kept on increasing and so did his heartbeat. It was like almost stopped beating for a moment when the train had left the platform.

Briti was very happy and returned home with her grandparents. She felt as if she conquered a state as she was the oldest of all the cousins and now she would have her own kingdom. Whereas Sudeep, in that train had no provision to take off the pain in his heart as his parents were travelling with him. It would take 13 hours to reach the destination. As the train was moving, the memories of her were also kept on moving around in his mind.

They reached the destination; Sudeep had to join that day. They went to a hotel, freshed up there and reached the university. It was his dream to study in that university.

First day, achieving the goal, he was very happy yet somewhere there was some dismay. He got some good friends on the first day in his campus. His parents left for the hometown saying cautions and caring for him.

Meanwhile, Briti made a dozen of friends who were playful, studious and naughty just like her. One year passed and there was not a word over phone or letter from Sudeep to Briti or from Briti to Sudeep. Days were flying. Both were busy in their studies.

It was her second year. She became the head girl of her school. She was active, studious and beautiful. Many boys fell for her in school and she rejected everyone. Her group consisted of eight, three boys and five girls. They all were best friends. They go together, come together, and party together… But, what no one knew was there was a boy in the same group who love her but didn't express to Briti ever. His name is Yayin. He was a silent one-side lover. Days were passing just like a gust of wind. Their plus 2 would come to end in a few weeks.

Will Yayin expresses his love to Briti?

Or, will he remain like a one-side lover?

Let us learn what happened in between Yayin and Briti in the next article.
